Our story dates back to 1977, when A R T D K & Sons was founded as a small partnership in Sri Lanka, supplying recyclable materials to local recycling companies. In 1994, driven by growing demand and a commitment to sustainability, the business was formally registered as Gallops Trading, laying the groundwork for what would become a transformative journey.
By 2000, Gallops entered the international market, pioneering the export of recycling materials from Sri Lanka. This milestone cemented our role as a leader in the industry.
In April 2011, our growth culminated in the establishment of Gallops Trading (Pvt) Ltd, a limited liability company operating under the Sri Lankan Company Act No. 7 of 2007. This marked the beginning of our transformation from a regional player into an international enterprise. backed by a relentless pursuit of operational excellence, quality, and environmental responsibility.
Fueled by the ambition to diversify and expand, Gallops transitioned from a recycling-focused operation into a global, multi-sector enterprise.
